Tropical Prints for the Plus size Woman
You probably have already started swiping your card for cruise looks and beach outfits, and I did too. Soon as my deposits hit in March Okuurrr!
Ok but honestly though you probably already know that I am fan of any kind of floral print and I'm drawn to anything that reminds me of Florida. I grew up there and my family moved here so I hardly ever have a reason to visit. I want to get out of Alabama. I have an itch right now. I'm not some world traveler. I'm not against it. I just have no idea where I would go!? Mainly I just want to do something different. I've been wearing less and going out more BUT like I'm already over it. I've been to Birds (Local spot) 4x in the last month. I feel like that's a lot. Quite a bit actually. I love a good outing with good company and good spirits. It's literally my favorite thing to do.
I just feel like I want a bit more variety. Options.
I'm wearing this super cute H&M crop top which has these tiny striped print and this adorable tie in the front. It's not plus size I regret to inform you, but I'm not top heavy I also regret to inform you lol. So this top is a size 14 and it is actually a matching set. I wasn't able to find it online, but I did see it in the store. I love this top it was mad comfy and will probably be staple paired with many pieces this summer. It work because stripes are a neutral and it's also basically grey because the black and white stripes are so tiny you probably can't even tell it'striped. It blends.
Remember when I said I'm attracted to most floral and most things that remind of Floridian life. Enter Exhibit A these pants. They have white piping down the side giving the cheesy a bit of an update. I think these are super cute and fun. I would love to rock these with a banging shoe and dressier or even more structured blouse to take this look into like a cute girls dinner. Know what I mean?
