My favorite manifestation of the plaid trend is Clueless clan plaid of course, plaid skirt suit ,and all girly options of plaid.
Anything nostalgic I'm typically for. I have a thing for "Remember when" like remember when we use to be like "Yaass Dionne Davenport!" & now in a really weird way we find ourselves conflicted because the actress who played her is like kind of iffy.
I'm way more interested in this plaid trend than I am in the animal print trend if I'm being ya know.... transparent. I plan on wearing bright versions of plaid (yellows and pinks). I also plan on wearing plaid suits/checkered suits & pairing plaid with more plaid or even animal print. Last, but not least anything that reminds me of what I would have worn if my parents would have let me wear it.
When I did this try on. in my IG stories you ladies were soooo hype! So I knew I had to get with it and post about it for you all. I bought this look from Target I plugged all of my fave plaid looks from the line above. Pretty much everything comes in plus and well as straight size. I didn't see any plus in the store, only straight size, and those sizes go up to XXL.
Now saying all that, I also love the classic plaid with spots of red in it or a classic gray checkered print. I like these pieces because they are super easy to pair with other pieces already in your closet and they aren't so loud so to speak.
