The Three Thrifty Keys to Christmas Outfit Shopping Part 3

Aight yall this is it. This is the end of our thrifty journey. I was soo pleasantly surprised with all of our finds at America’s Thrift store that I might even add thrifting to my list of hobbies. So how did I get here? Let’s start from the beginning. Thrift stores are typically filled with outdated pieces, and I always conveniently forgot that if Fashion does nothing else it always comes full circle.  That was my first hurdle. My second hurdle was “nothing is going to fit”

These hurdles were tackled by using the style knowledge already possessed and accepting that “nothing is going to fit” Lol.

I held my thrifty keys near and dear to my heart and jumped out of the proverbial plane. So having my keys greatly improved my outlook and my search.  America’s Thrift store is supremely organized and BIG. They come highly recommended.

THRIFTY KEY #3

TAILORS ARE BAE

Now I didn’t have a tailor but you might be able to modify your piece to make it work temporarily, I clamped this dress tunic vest thing, because it was too big on me. I love to show off my waist, so I cinched it in the back, and that naturally brought the hem line up, shorter and cinched *INSERT HEART EYE EMOJI*.
