Well think about it, how often do you buy a new coat? Coats tend to have a classic aesthetic, people take care of their coats because they have to last longer and they aren't cheap new. Think military coats, camo jackets, leopard coats, evening coats. Also, FUR.

Remember shape matters. 

Let's talk about why this look worked though, because honestly this long sleeve circle skirt having velvet dress is a small *I'm sticking my tongue out in true Cardi B fashion because nothing but God* and jacket is giving just a wee bit of datedness. We kill that like gel and that stray curl with a bangin pair of on trend shoes and of course the choker is poppin currently.
