Hey yall!
Day 10 of Self-Quarantining
I'm starting to get a little uncomfortable. The barrage of messages from coaches encouraging me not to waste this time while I'm clearly watching yet another show on HBO make me a little anxious. The fact that I can't seem to sit down and focus on school work for two hours is making me anxious. The uncertainty of when all of this will cease is also making me anxious. Needless to say there are quite a few tabs open in mental browser. I'm over taxing the system. There are a few things I have been dong to redirect though and I want to share them with you guys.
If you use any of them let me know!
What helps keep me less stir crazy:
• Tiktok - I never knew I could like TikTok so much. I get up and move which I'm sure releases endorphins therefore making me happier.
• Fresh Air - I'm pretty sure fresh air lift spirits by default. Not entirely sure on the science there.
• Games with Trey Skills that aren’t on a device - Building a bond with Trey skills re-affirms I'm a good mom which obviously makes me feel good.
• Talking to my friends - Socializing in general I think helps beat down the idea that you're lonely. I'm not alone at all.
